Today’s drive was intentionally a short one. We like getting home early in the day so that we have plenty of day light left to unpack our gear and to compose ourselves.

We did take lots of pictures but only a few made our website. Jorge spotted an eagle painted on the side of an 18-Wheeler and you’ll see it here, He did touch it up a bit to make it presentable.

For those wondering about the recent storms that California has gone through, well, the state survived! We hear that more storms are on the way. Jorge shall brave the weather in his shorts.

We both record gasoline stats on our trips. This was the first time that we both landed the lowest price at $2.679 per gallon. It’s a draw!

There are lots of cellular trees in this state. If you’re wondering what a cell tree could look like we added one here. Oh, they look so real, NOT!

Thanks for following us on this trip, Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
