Today was a driving day. We thought we might drop by at Fort McKavett State Site but it was raining most of the day.

Hence, lots of pictures today are of the ‘drive-by-and-shoot-a-picture’ type. Some of these are things one sees on the road but never really thinks about. See the pictures.

Ellen and Jorge share the driving responsibilities equally, of course. We also have a bit of a gasoline price contest going every trip to see who can score the lowest price. Amazingly, so far, we can’t seem to get below $2.999 per gallon on this trip.

Sure, we’ve seen the price as low as $2.849 but who fills up a tank it still has plenty of gas? Guess which song the winner sings?
