We have a few pictures of Fort Stockton. We’ve driven by it so often that we have become a bit jaded. However, we always look forward to seeing the silhouettes both coming into town and leaving. It’s about the U.S. Cavalry and the American Indians.
The Clark Hotel Museum in Van Horn TX is operated by Patricia Golden. We were lucky to catch her before she left for lunch. She gave us the grand tour.
We’ve put in a few pictures hoping to give the flavor of the museum. It’s one of those where everyone in the community donates personal, historical treasures. Without Patricia’s stories would would not know the history of certain artifacts.
Then we headed to see the Alligator Pond in El Paso TX. The real animals were replaced years ago but it was nice to see.
