Today we started the day by visiting the Lakenenland Junkyard Art Park. There’s a trail to take and you may walk it or drive through. We chose to wheel it. This place must have the most “junk art” we’ve ever seen. What a hoot! We couldn’t get all the sculptures on the website but there are enough representations to give you an idea of what’s out there.

Then we rode through a town named Christmas in Michigan! Of course, we took pictures of the big Santa Claus statues.

The weather has been nice but today we got a bit of fog. It wasn’t bad. Hey, it looks as. if Big Foot is looking for a chair. Check out that picture!

We drove past a tall Wooden Observation Tower. We didn’t stop because we had a long drive ahead of us. We were looking forward to crossing the Mackinac Bridge and you’ll see some beautiful pictures.

The bridge museum was modest, to be sure. It was free and we had lunch downstairs.

Not far we entered the Wacky Taxidermy and Miniatures Museum. We met the proprietors (Brandon and Julie Howey) who gave us a rundown on the place. They are a pair of dedicated, fun-loving artists and owners.

The Call of the Wild Museum was another (more serious) taxidermy museum. We included a few pictures to give you a flavor of the place. It was a good day!
