Driving through Duluth MN, on U.S. Route 2, allowed us to cross a nice bridge. There are some spectacular views from it.

Look, there’s another town with a tank on display. Yes, another memorial to our soldiers.

Our first stop was a statue dedicated to the Seamen of the Great Lakes. There’s a ship there (on land, not water). We figured that it’s some kind of museum. We didn’t investigate further.

Next to the statue a group of musicians were preparing for their worship service. Sunday in the park!

A large arrow, ax and fishing pole were found on the road. We couldn’t find who put it them there. Why?

The World’s Biggest Corkscrew was quickly photographed as we drove by. We almost missed it.

Check that picture of Jorge and Hiawatha. The statue  is 52 feet tall and weighs 9 tons.

The size of the totem pole like statue pictured is modest. What’s interesting is that Peter Wolf Toth carved at least one for each state. He created them from 1971 to 1988.
