We’ve visited several sites that had a ‘replica’ Stonehenge. Ellen wondered if we’d be unimpressed if we ever saw the real thing. Well, it turns out that there’s a big Stonehenge at the University of Texas Permian Basin.
Then we visited the Monehans Sandhills State Park to check out the sand dunes. Next we drove to eat lunch in Pecos TX and see the local sights.
Believe it or not, Jorge took Ellen to a Vietnamese Restaurant! He loves hamburgers but what a surprise! We shared dumplings stuffed with pork and noodles with chicken, shrimp, beef and veggies. Yum!
Today was basically a long driving day. The weather was cold but you could see for miles! So, you’ll see lots of photos of the road and a few scenic shots. It was a good day!
