See the truck and camper?

You might think that since we’re almost home that we’d stop the site seeing. Nope! We got gasoline at a Sunoco where evangelist Jimmy Swaggart picked up a prostitute in 1991. It was not the first or last time that the preacher got in trouble. Demon sex strikes again!

Yes, there was snow in the mountains surrounding Indio CA. Palm trees and snow!

Not far north of Palm Springs near the Morango Native American Casino  we spotted some dinosaurs. The Cabazon Dinosaurs were originally known as Claude Bell’s (1897-1988) Dinosaurs. Construction began in 1964 and Claude, as a formet Knott’s Berry Farm sculptor, had the skills to do it right. Dinny was the first dino, a Brontosaurus. It has rooms inside and a tunnel up the head for changing lights in it’s head. Originally they were to promote dinosaurs and natural history. Evolution is now denounced by the Creationist run gift shop.

You may be surprised to know that you are only seeing 6% of the pictures taken on this trip. Nightly, it took Jorge about 3 hours to make each webpage. After Ellen did the proof-reading and editing it was posted. It was a team effort. We hope you have enjoyed the trip as much as we did!
